Nightmare Alley is another example of how captivating a story can be when all of these elements are working together. Along with the brilliant score composed by Nathan Johnson the film makes use of a number of period classics to include "This Years Kisses" , "Where Was I" , " Little Brown Jug " and Chatanooga Choo Choo as it was performed in the the 1940's movie "Sun Valley Serenade" by Glenn Miller and his Orchestra with Tex Beneke, Paula Kelly, and the Modernaires.
